I posted this because as I listened to the two of them discuss the downturn in the USA, it struck me that I am seeing very similar changes happen "on the ground" in my market segment. The flats, apartments & townhouses in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, South Africa.
Just like Brent Gove, I too have seen the downturns over the last 30 years & although the public may not realize it yet, I am "feeling" the signals. The market is in definite decline. To what degree, time will tell. We are also seeing "price reduced" banners all over listings right now.
No matter what, I have weathered the worst declines and highest interest rates over the last 31 years. I have even had my best sales months during these times.
